ADD Bulgaria has signed a new contract with ER Yug, part of EVN Group, for the delivery of smart metering devices, communication infrastructure, and services for the maintenance and development of the smart metering system.
The contract, signed on June 11, 2026, has a value of approximately EUR 40,000,000 and includes the supply of concentrators, single-phase and three-phase smart meters with Prime 1.4 PLC, Hybrid, P2P and M-Bus communication, development and delivery of Linux-based communication servers for the Head-End System (HES), maintenance of ADDAX IMS systems, supply and maintenance of KMS devices, as well as additional developments according to the operational needs of the client.
The new contract is a natural continuation of a successful partnership that has lasted for over 20 years and coincides with an important milestone for the company – the celebration of its anniversary, highlighting the long-term growth and achievements of ADD Bulgaria.
During this period, ADD Bulgaria has built and developed one of the largest smart metering infrastructures in the region. The company is positioned as an integrator of end-to-end AMI solutions, combining hardware, software, and communication technologies. In addition, ADD Bulgaria develops its own technological solutions under the brand GridBit for the energy and industrial sectors, further enhancing the implemented systems.
The ADDAX solution, developed by ADD Grup, is implemented and maintained in Bulgaria by ADD Bulgaria and has repeatedly proven its reliability, security, and ability to serve millions of metering points under real operating conditions.
Over the years, the system has continuously evolved to meet the growing requirements of electricity distribution companies – both in terms of functionality and in terms of cybersecurity, communication technologies, and integration with new systems.
