We are excited to share with you that ADD Bulgaria has been selected as one of the six companies to participate in the upcoming Kumihimo Tech Camp in Bulgaria, supported by Endeavor Bulgaria, in cooperation with the leading Japanese electronics manufacturer – Murata Manufacturing.
Our company is the only one selected with an IoT solution among the many participants in this field, which is a huge recognition for us. Murata Manufacturing is known for looking for unique and innovative solutions, and clearly the Japanese giant sees the potential in our team, ideas and capabilities.

Murata Manufacturing is a global leader that designs, manufactures and supplies a wide range of high-density advanced electronic materials, components and multi-functional modules. Murata products find applications in communications equipment, mobility, automotive, enterprise systems, industrial automation, healthcare and biotechnology, as well as consumer electronics. The company is headquartered in Japan, but operates globally on 6 continents.
What is Kumihimo Tech Camp?
Kumihimo Tech Camp is a collaborative project initiated by Murata Manufacturing to promote innovation and use their hardware in new ways by collaborating with promising entrepreneurs and organizations at all stages. The project, which started in 2022 in Japan, is now expanding to Bulgaria and is looking for startups, expansion and research teams and laboratories from universities that use or can use Murata hardware in the development of new products and solutions.
How did ADD Bulgaria end up among the finalists?
ADD Bulgaria participates in this format, as a result of our partnership with Endeavor Bulgaria, which started in 2022. We went through their annual 4-month growth program, called Dare2Scale, where we participate in a series of workshops and mentoring sessions with prominent Bulgarian entrepreneurs. The learning experience was at an extremely high level. But one of the most valuable advantages of the program was the opportunity to establish good contacts with key representatives of the Bulgarian entrepreneurial community. Since then, we have maintained good relations with the Endeavor Bulgaria team, trying to support each other in various endeavors. For the current tech camp, we were specially invited by Endeavor Bulgaria, but the final decision was made by Murata Manufacturing itself.
